Best residency interview tips that you will ever get

This is my own tips formulated by months of research from various websites and forums while I am preparing for my own. I hope this will be one of the best among others.

Preparation-This rule applies to anything. Exam, Travels, and Interviews. Prepare well, the basic and advanced interview questions and their answer so it will be easy for us to answer or at least formulate while facing the question.

Be punctual (most important)

Dress appropriately.(not like Keeanu Reeves-should be conservative)

Research about the program or the institute you are visiting. (do not break your radio, laptop, iPad, iPhone or desktop for research purposes-go to website of the program re-search the relevant information about them, formulate any inquiry for the interview purpose)

Have good hand shake (it should be firm and brief handshake)

Relax (be cool, happy, out going and comfortable with the surroundings)

Have good eye contact (with happy and interesting face, not like this)

Smile (don't make face like this)

Know about the directors, residents, places-it means familiarize yourself (I am not talking about the near by night bars!)

Carry documents with you (but not the whole medical textbooks or your scholarly articles or novels which you like)

Say thank you or send saying one (you don't need to send diamond watch)

  1. Travelers yearn for journeys like prisoners dream of rooms without bars. And we all want time off for good behavior.Flights to Windhoek
