Best thing to do after setting up a google account

If world wide web (internet) is the new matrix world, then google is the keymaker. It can take you any place and give you access to anything you have in mind. It comes with the ease of  accessing different Google products with a single username and password.

Here is the brief summary of the products that you can use them in or as:


Google Mail or Gmail-for sending and receiving emails.

Google Docs-for writing, editing, uploading and downloading documents like the Microsoft office documents or open office documents.

Google Calender- of course to know the whole month or year and plan accordingly.

Google Videos/Youtube- Whether you want to enjoy the music videos or watch live shows, documentaries, movie trailer, free movies this might be the best of all best sites.


Google Reader- if you are tired of searching for the hottest news updates or the feeds from different sites you go this may be the best platform to funnel all those material onto a single platform.

Google News- do I need to say anything about it?

Google Map-Do you know how much time it takes to go to JFK Int't airport from 34th street and 9th ave Manhattan? How would you like to go there-drive, walk or take subway? What if your car broke? Answer is obvious, isn't it. Or, may be someday you want to travel to the place which you never knew before for some weird reason, say for new and exciting job interview. It will help. Believe me.

Google Takeout- if someday you become so paranoid that you don't want your information associated with Google to be remained in Google server so you may want it in your own computer-download it. Its so simple.

iGoogle- if you think you are multi-tasker then it might be your true calling. You can customize the panel  with various gadgets and they are free above all.

Google Wave- Well, honestly, I don't have any idea about this. Just go and check this product by yourself. I guess it may be a platform to have discussion on a topic and getting as much views as possible from your Google contacts.

Google Checkout- You might have been buying cell phone, laptop, ear plugs, shoes from different online stores or shops and different items. Try Google shopping for all in one screen and you will enjoy. I enjoyed it.
